Recycle Guide

  1. Recycling is currently on a voluntary basis in the Village. Recycling bins are available for purchase ($5.00) at the Bradley Village Hall.
  2. All your recyclable items will go in these recycling. You should have one bin for paper (newspapers, magazines, etc.) and one bin for all other recyclables (glass, plastic, metal). You must separate the different types of paper items in separate stacks within the one bin. Glass, metal and plastics can all be mixed within the recycling bin. NOTE: you can also bundle all newspapers, etc. with string or in brown paper grocery bags on top of your one bin of mixed recycling.
  3. Set the recycling bins out with your other trash. The garbage company (United Disposal) will pick them up on your regular garbage day!

  • Suggestions: rinse containers with hot water; okay to leave labels on. The recycling bins will not be emptied if there are any non-recyclable items in them. Don't put grass clippings or other yard waste in your recycling bins or with your regular garbage. Leave the clippings on your lawn; they feed the earth & you make a healthier lawn. • THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CAN BE RECYCLED AT A SCRAP YARD BUT NOT IN THE RECYCLING BINS: METAL FURNITURE, HUB CAPS, POTS AND PANS, CLOTHES HANGERS and SMALL METAL APPLIANCES
